Irit Elazar Cohen, born in Tel Aviv, and raised in Israel, moved to New York City in 1994 and since 1999 has been living in Los Angeles.
She studied Art beginning with Ceramics and later Photography at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem and completed her studies at the Camera Obscura School of Art and Film in Tel Aviv. Her art work has been exhibited in Tel Aviv, New York, and Los Angeles.
Irit's love of animals and fascination with design has inspired her to create the original creatures which appear in her Quirky Creatures Cards and pictures. Irit started the company in 2006 and is having lots of fun.
